The Korg TM-60 is a very useful tool for timing and tuning. Plus, you only have to fit one unit in the pipe case. The TM-56 is easy to use, with tuning functions on one side and metronome settings on the other. A fold-out stand makes for easier reading of the display when you're playing. Because the tuner is not made for bagpipes, it can't be used to tune every not on the chanter. It is accurate for Low A, C, E, and High A on the chanter. And drones on the Highland bagpipe tune to Low A.
